Anna Gunn
Anna Gunn is an American actress from America. Her most well-known role is her part as Skyler White on The AMC show Breaking Bad for which she won the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting actor in the Drama Series in 2013 and 2014. She performed the roles of Jean Ward and Martha Bullock as well in The Practice. Anna Gunn grew up in Sante Fe New Mexico and discovered her love for acting during her time at Preparatory School. The late 70's, she and her family moved to Ohio. Theatre studies took place in the theatre department at Northwestern University. A semester was spent at the British American Drama Academy. Anna spent a few seasons working in Chicago theatre before moving on to television and film. Anna was the first to get a major part as Arden as Arden when Down the Shore aired 29 episodes in 1992. In addition, she played in Seinfeld and NYPD Blue. In fact, it wasn't until the late 1990s that she took on the role of The Practice. Martha Bullock, a character that she played for a period of two seasons during Deadwood's 2nd season. She was cast as Skyler in Breaking Bad as Skyler, in 2008. Sully as well as Deadwood was also an integral part of her work. Gunn appeared on stage in David Schwimmer's Sex With Strangers. In 2022 the actress also appeared in a series of podcast of audio plays called"Numbered Days. Breaking Bad revolves around Walter White's wedding to Skyler. Walter White's personal tale and the tension in his relationship with Skyler can be seen in the show.
